Crocidura russula

A Greater White-Toothed Shrew on an evening stroll. At first I cycled past this little critter, took me a moment to register it was actually alive. So I braked, walked back, took this pic and ushered him onto the grass. Good thing, because right at that moment some mopeds came screaming past which would have turned the shrew into roadkill.
The bad quality of the photo is due to the fact that it's cropped from a pic I took with my cellphone.
